Windows Live Messenger is perhaps the easiest multiplayer games platform on which games can be developed and distributed, and likely the easiest way to get your game in front of over 200 million users in 30 countries. Xbox LIVE Community Games is the revolutionary mechanism where independent developers, hobbyists, and students can submit and deploy games that can be played by the over 10 million Xbox LIVE users. The beta program will kick off in the US during springtime 2008, with more countries supported at the time of the initial release during the holiday 2008 season.
